Location: Chennai, India
Role Purpose: The Global Application Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of assigned corporate applications, ensuring they meet business, technical, security, and compliance requirements. The role collaborates with global architects, platform leads, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and efficient application services across Nordex.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full application lifecycle, from demand intake to retirement.
- Ensure application stability, performance, security, and compliance.
- Coordinate Level 2/Level 3 support and align with ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management).
- Act as the primary IT contact for business stakeholders and vendors.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on service performance and user feedback.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure standardization, governance, and architectural alignment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Min 3 yrs of experience in Application Management or Application Operations.
- Good understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes and application lifecycle management.
- Experience working with global teams and third-party service providers.
- Knowledge of system integrations, data flows, and enterprise applications.

- Fluent English (C1 level); German or Spanish is an advantage.
