Job Description – ServiceNow Platform Administrator
Location: Chennai
Role Purpose: The ServiceNow Platform Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Nordex ServiceNow platform. The role ensures platform stability, performance, security, and alignment with business requirements while supporting users and stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management, and CMDB.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, maintenance, and platform monitoring activities.
- Manage user accounts, roles, groups, and access permissions.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with developers, process owners, and business stakeholders to implement enhancements and technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity within the ServiceNow environment.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Support integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Provide end-user support, training, and guidance on ServiceNow best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or similar role.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow administration, security, compliance, and access management.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM and ITOM.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and Performance Analytics.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, Glide scripting, Flow Designer, Update Sets, and Scheduled Jobs.
- Experience supporting integrations with enterprise systems.
