Student Support Teacher

At Colegio Peruano Británico, we are looking for a committed and student-centered Student Support Teacher to join our growing and collaborative team.
The successful candidate will support the implementation and development of the Student Support Department, providing specialized assistance to students with diverse learning needs and working closely with teachers and families to promote inclusive practices.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide individualized and small-group support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to design and implement inclusive and differentiated strategies.
  • Support the development, implementation, and follow-up of individualized learning plans.
  • Work closely with families to communicate progress, strategies, and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the design and consolidation of the Student Support Department in its early stages.
  • Promote an inclusive school culture that fosters participation, wellbeing, and academic progress for all students.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Education, Psychopedagogy, Educational Psychology, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in inclusive education programs, student support, or similar roles within school settings.
  • Experience collaborating with teachers and supporting students with diverse educational needs.
  • Previous experience in educational institutions (highly desirable).
  • Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to contribute to the growth of a developing department.
  • Commitment to inclusive education, student wellbeing, and holistic development.
