Mid-Level Accounting Analyst

- Responsible for performing and analyzing accounting routines, ensuring the accurate recording of the company's transactions, compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations, and the quality of financial information.
- Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Record accounting entries and ensure the proper classification of transactions.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing the required documentation and clarifications.
- Analyze variances in accounting accounts and propose adjustments when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (CPC, IFRS, and BRGAAP).
- Support the preparation and submission of ancillary tax obligations and tax-related matters associated with accounting.
- Participate in the implementation and improvement of processes and internal controls.
- Record and process all incoming tax documents, ensuring they are posted to the appropriate accounting accounts and assigned to the correct cost centers.
- Monitor the recording and tracking of CAPEX.
- Perform other activities related to the Tax and Accounting departments.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Accounting).
- Familiarity with Accounting and Finance department routines;
- Multitasking skills;
- Strong organizational and planning skills;
- Attention to detail, dynamism, determination, patience, and accountability;
- Ability to concentrate and work effectively with people;
- Proactivity, initiative, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a team;
