The Role

As Project Support Officer, you will provide operational project management and PMO support across a portfolio of global finance systems projects and transformation initiatives. Supporting programmes with significant executive visibility, you will play a key role in ensuring projects remain on track, governance standards are maintained, and stakeholders stay aligned across multiple regions and suppliers.

  • Coordinating daily project activities across multiple concurrent workstreams and transformation initiatives. 
  • Supporting a global Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central upgrade programme spanning 18 databases, multiple regions and entities. 
  • Maintaining project governance documentation, including RAID logs, action trackers, decision logs, project plans and status reports. 
  • Producing high-quality project reporting, steering committee packs and executive updates. 
  • Coordinating meetings, workshops and governance forums, including agendas, minutes and action follow-up. 
  • Managing stakeholder communications across technology, finance, operational teams and third-party vendors.
  • Supporting project planning, milestone tracking, dependency management and delivery prioritisation.
  • Helping identify, track and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and decisions across project portfolios. 

The Successful Candidate Will Possess

Essential

  • Previous experience in a Project Support Officer, PMO Analyst, Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager role. 
  • Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects or programmes. 
  • Strong organisational, planning and administrative skills. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. 
  • Experience maintaining project governance documentation and reporting. 
  • Knowledge of RAID logs, action trackers and project controls. 
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools. 
  • Experience using tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira and Microsoft Teams. 
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced delivery environment. 
  • Experience supporting ERP or finance transformation programmes. 
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP platforms. 
  • Experience supporting system implementations, integrations or upgrade projects.
  • Experience working with global or multi-regional teams.
  • PMO or project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, PMP or Agile certifications.
