Head of School
About this role
HEAD OF SCHOOL, TREWHELA’S SCHOOL
Founded in 1937, Trewhela’s School is one of Chile’s most respected schools, known for its academic excellence. It consistently ranks amongst the top 1% of schools nationwide based on national assessments and standardised education tests. The school educates more than 2,000 students aged 3 to 18 through a distinctive blend of the Chilean National Curriculum, the Cambridge International Assessment (CAIE), and the UK curriculum (IGCSE and A levels), with instruction in both English and Spanish.
Trewhela’s School operates across two campuses in Santiago, both located in some of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods. The Providencia campus, in the heart of the capital, serves over 1,240 students from preschool through to Grade 12. The Chicureo campus, opened in 2012, is in one of Santiago’s fastest-growing suburbs and educates more than 800 students across the same year groups.
Trewhela’s School became part of the Nord Anglia Education family in 2025, allowing it to benefit from opportunities through our global programmes, collaborations, expeditions, events, and professional learning for teachers and support colleagues.
