Nobia – a leading European kitchen specialist listed on Nasdaq Stockholm – is looking for a QHSE Manager to join our QHSE team in Ølgod. You will join a team where we work closely together to create structure, quality, and safety across Nobia Denmark.

Imagine joining a department where curiosity about different perspectives is encouraged, and where collaboration and professional sparring are part of everyday life. Our shared ambition is to make complex management systems accessible, practical, and valuable for everyone.

This is an on-site position based at our office in Ølgod, Denmark, with approximately 15–20 travel days per year. You will report to our Supply Chain Director Denmark and have personnel responsibility for a team of 3–5 employees.

You will be responsible for leading our QHSE function and ensuring that we continuously comply with applicable legislation, as well as meeting the expectations of our customers and other stakeholders. One of your first key priorities will be to develop and implement an action plan aimed at reducing the number of customer claims. You will work closely with the management team, Customer Service, Sourcing, R&D, and collaborate with and participate in the Nobia Sustainability Group.

Your area of responsibility covers four main areas:

  • Occupational Health & Safety

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Daily management of the QHSE function

  • Identifying root causes of claims and leading cross-functional improvement projects

  • Approving exemption applications relating to quality and specifications

  • Ensuring that internal audits are conducted

  • Energy management

  • Ensuring compliance with ESG requirements and new initiatives within the area

Who Are You?

You have solid experience leading a QHSE function, preferably from a larger and complex organization where you are accustomed to working with multiple stakeholders. You take ownership of your responsibilities and are a strong communicator who is comfortable operating at all levels of an organization.

In addition, we imagine that you:

  • Have several years of experience managing a QHSE function

  • Have strong project management skills

  • Have a technical educational background, preferably as an engineer or marine engineer

  • Have formal training in the management systems we work with (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001); auditor training is an advantage

  • Have a commercial mindset and understand the dynamics of a Supply Chain organization

  • Are proactive and take ownership – you deliver results quickly and effectively, and have a strong sense of urgency

  • Are not afraid to challenge the status quo and have a can-do attitude

  • Are fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English

What We Offer

You will become part of a team and organization where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and supporting one another are fundamental to the way we work. We build strong relationships across the organization and work closely together to achieve our goals. Also:

  • The opportunity to lead an ambitious team

  • The opportunity to shape processes, tools, and ways of working
