Execute scheduled work plan from mobilization to execution until the demobilization and handing over
Operate the Rapid Impact Compaction (RIC) machine in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications
Familiarity with the controls and functions of the equipment to ensure proper and efficient operation
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others on the construction site
Conduct pre-operational checks on the equipment to identify and address any safety issues before starting the compaction process
Collaborate with site engineers and surveyors to identify specific locations for compaction and ensure proper compaction depths
Discuss and Understand the Compaction requirement from Site Engineer/Supervisors as per the project requirement and operate the equipment accordingly
Take necessary precautions while operating the equipment over the underground utilities and also obtain all required permissions from the relevant authorities
Timely reporting the equipment faults to the Mechanical /Technical team
Maintain effective communication with other construction team members, including engineers, surveyors, and site supervisors and create a clear buffer zone from the other activities
Communicate any issues, concerns, or deviations from the compaction plan to the relevant personnel
Adjust compaction parameters as needed based on the soil conditions and project specifications
Maintain accurate records of the compaction process, including compaction depths, locations, and any adjustments made during the operation
Provide documentation to support quality control and compliance with project requirements
Perform routine maintenance on the Rapid Impact Compaction (RIC) machine to ensure its optimal performance
Report any mechanical issues promptly and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs
Consider and address environmental concerns related to the compaction process, such as dust control measures and protection of nearby ecosystems
Conduct daily check of equipment based on the approved daily check list, prior to start each shift
Stay informed about new developments in Rapid Impact Compaction (RIC) technology and techniques
Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay updated on safety and operational best practices.
Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during the compaction process promptly
Implements safety policies and procedures for effective and efficient functioning of the team and its operations.
