About this role

  • Supervise offshore hookup, construction, and installation operations in accordance with approved procedures, project specifications, and execution plans to ensure safe and compliant delivery of work scope.
  • Represent NMDC Energy / NPCC offshore and coordinate with client representatives, Project Management Team, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment on project execution.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, code of conduct, and HSES standards during all offshore activities to maintain safe and ethical operations.
  • Review mobilization plans including manpower, tools, and equipment to ensure readiness for offshore execution.
  • Review project scope, drawings, and documents from a constructability perspective to ensure alignment with technical requirements and execution feasibility.
  • Verify task sheets, work packs, hydrotest packs, and generate Hookup MTO to support accurate planning and execution.
  • Analyze lessons learned and best practices from previous projects to improve execution efficiency and reduce risks.
  • Monitor micro-schedules for work packages and campaigns to track progress, identify delays, and ensure timely execution.
  • Verify Bag & Tag status for materials, tools, and equipment through material control systems to ensure traceability and availability.
  • Ensure hookup procedures align with latest AFC drawings to maintain technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Confirm pre-installation and load-out of required equipment and materials are completed on time to support smooth offshore operations.
  • Monitor daily offshore work progress and coordinate with clients, field engineers, and hookup engineers to ensure smooth execution of activities.
  • Prepare daily progress reports and field reports summarizing performance, issues, and mitigation actions.
  • Track completion status of task sheets and work packs and report progress to planning teams.
  • Participate in offshore safety meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments to ensure safety compliance.
  • Coordinate with client representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical and construction-related queries.
  • Identify and highlight material shortages and coordinate with material control teams to ensure timely availability.
  • Supervise offshore personnel and allocate tasks to ensure efficient execution of activities.
  • Review work orders, prioritize tasks, arrange required resources, and provide technical instructions to workforce.
  • Inspect ongoing and completed work to ensure compliance with approved standards and specifications.
  • Ensure proper return of all tools, equipment, and tackles to storage areas and coordinate return of rented items to vendors.
  • Contribute to lessons learned documentation and project close-out reports to support continuous improvement.
  • Prepare final documentation and support handover to incoming engineering and supervisory teams.
  • Ensure all vessel operations are conducted safely in compliance with HSE procedures and marine operational standards.
  • Coordinate with vessel master and follow Barge Management Manual to ensure safe and efficient marine operations.
  • Ensure work permits and clearances are obtained prior to mobilization and demobilization activities.
  • Review barge setup drawings and ensure correct implementation during offshore operations.
  • Monitor crane operations, marine spread, and field entry activities to support safe execution of hookup works.
  • Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and recommend improvements where required.
