About this role

What You'll Do:

  • Diagnose and perform final repairs and component change-outs needed to complete electric golf cars and utility/LSV vehicles moving through the assembly/production process.

  • Adjust or replace brakes, suspension components, steering systems, and tires as needed to finalize vehicle builds.
  • Install mechanical and electrical components, accessories, and change out defective parts per written job instructions and blueprints to complete the assembly operation.
  • Perform final quality-control inspections — checking brakes, steering, lights, and overall drivability — before vehicles are cleared for shipment.
  • Lead and mentor junior technicians and assembly staff; provide hands-on training and review their work for quality.
  • Explain diagnoses and recommend repairs in clear, non-technical terms to production leads and management.
  • Maintain accurate repair records, work orders, and documentation for every unit completed.
  • Follow all PPE and safety protocols; maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area on the production floor.
  • Report recurring faults, defects, or quality issues to management to support continuous improvement of the assembly line.
