About this role

  • Counsel prospective candidates on career opportunities in the insurance sector, IC-38 certification, POSP roles, and employment prospects.
  • Screen candidates against the project's eligibility criteria and facilitate the admission process.
  • Complete candidate registration, documentation, and maintain accurate beneficiary records.
  • Ensure candidates understand the training schedule, assessment process, certification requirements, and placement opportunities.
  • Achieve monthly enrollment targets while maintaining the quality of candidate selection.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for newly enrolled candidates and their parents/guardians, where required.
  • Follow up with enrolled candidates to improve attendance, retention, and course completion.
  • Motivate learners to successfully complete the IC-38 curriculum and appear for the certification examination.
  • Coordinate with trainers and the Center Manager to address learner concerns and minimize dropouts.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates through phone calls, WhatsApp groups, SMS, and other digital channels.
  • Promote self-enrollment through QR codes, digital campaigns, and beneficiary referral programmes.
  • Encourage existing beneficiaries and alumni to refer eligible candidates.
  • Support mobilization campaigns, job fairs, awareness drives, and institutional outreach activities.
  • Coordinate with HO, IRDAI-approved training partners, and placement teams for candidate interviews and placement opportunities.
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS related to mobilization, admissions, attendance, counselling, certification, and placements.
  • Collect candidate feedback and support continuous improvement of the programme.
  • Ensure compliance with project guidelines, donor requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Center Manager or Project Manager.


  • Requirements

    Graduate in Commerce/Economics or relevant subject
    Experience in BFSI, insurance, or vocational training will be an added advantage

    Skills Required

    • Strong counselling and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent communication in Hindi and the local language (English preferred).
    • Community mobilization and stakeholder engagement.
    • Candidate relationship management.
    • Documentation and MIS reporting.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and digital communication tools.
    • Ability to achieve mobilization and enrollment targets.
    • Willingness to travel locally for outreach and mobilization activities if required
