About this role
Nanyang Technological University's College of Engineering is one of the largest engineering colleges in the region, bringing together five schools under a single College Office.
The College Office is looking for an experienced Events Senior Assistant Manager/Manager to own its full event portfolio, from institutional ceremonies and high-profile visits to community and cultural events and fundraising engagements.
Responsibilities:
Own the College event calendar and standards across institutional, cultural, and fundraising events.
Plan and deliver flagship engagements, including Visiting Committee visits and donor events, to an exacting standard.
Lead end-to-end event management, including budgeting, procurement, vendor management, logistics and on-site operations.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across the College to ensure seamless event planning and delivery.
Evaluate every event and raise the bar over time.
Requirements:
Must-haves:
A recognised university degree.
At least 6 to 8 years' end-to-end event management experience with budget accountability.
A track record with high-profile or VIP events and external vendors.
Good to have:
Experience across institutional, cultural, and fundraising events.
Higher-education, institutional, or non-profit experience.
