JOB TITLE: Production Lead Assembly

LOCATION: Tennessee

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

  • Assists in setting Production Schedule priorities.
  • Enables better overall Safety, Efficiency and Quality Performance through training and coaching operators to improve technical abilities.
  • Maintains an environment where team members are actively engaged in improving the layout, organization and cleanliness for the area.
  • Sets and leads by example in our Continuous Improvement Initiative (Kaizen Events, RIP’s, reducing set-up time, 5-s, etc.).
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in assigned area.
  • Understands and is able to perform production tasks well enough to troubleshoot issues for the employees; maintain efficient departmental workflow and in-process control on daily bases.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school level education or equivalent specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
  • Minimum 3 years of assembly experience required.
  • Requires the use of judgment in the analysis of facts and circumstances surrounding individual problems and transactions within the limits of a standard or acceptable practice.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with subordinates and other departments.
  • Must be able to train others. 
  • Ability to read and follow standard work instructions.
  • Familiar with measuring and testing equipment.

 

PHYSCIAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.

Shift time is 2:30PM TILL 11:00PM Monday thru Friday
