About this role
Overview
The job holder is responsible for leading the preparation and delivery of management reporting, financial dashboards, and performance analysis to support executive decision-making and business planning. The role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of management information through the consolidation of financial and operational data, enhancement of reporting frameworks, and compliance with IFRS, SOCPA, and regulatory requirements, while driving continuous improvement in reporting quality and insights across NHCI.
Key Responsibilities
- Implements procedures and systems related to tax and fixed asset operations to ensure compliance with ZATCA, SOCPA, and internal policies.
- Implements daily activities for maintaining the fixed asset register, including classification, tagging, and accurate recording of asset metadata.
- Implements procedures for recording and validating fixed asset acquisitions based on supporting documentation and ensures proper posting into ERP systems.
- Executes and monitors periodic depreciation postings and ensures reconciliation between fixed asset records and the general ledger.
- Implements procedures for processing asset disposals, retirements, transfers, and revaluations, ensuring accurate financial recording and documentation.
- Prepares and executes tax calendar activities aligned with ZATCA requirements, ensuring timely tracking of VAT, Zakat, and corporate tax deadlines.
- Executes and monitors VAT and Zakat filing activities through the ZATCA portal, ensuring accuracy and completeness of submissions and supporting documents.
- Implements procedures for tax payments through approved channels and ensures proper recording and reconciliation of transactions.
- Monitors deferred tax balances and ensures alignment with financial reporting standards and accurate accounting treatment.
- Executes periodic reconciliations between fixed asset registers and physical verification results, identifying and resolving variances.
- Implements archiving procedures for tax filings, payment confirmations, and fixed asset records to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
- Monitors operational deliverables across tax and fixed asset activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuity of financial operations.
- Escalates recurring issues and recommends improvements to procedures, systems, and operational workflows to enhance efficiency and control.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Financial Management, or any related field is required
- 9 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role
- Certifications in SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA are optional
