At NextPharma Tampere, we develop, manufacture and package ophthalmic products used by patients around the world. Tampere site combines decades of pharmaceutical expertise with an exciting transformation journey, including site expansion, new technologies and new customer projects.

 

Are you ready to shape project excellence at a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing site?

 

Join NextPharma and play a key role in delivering pharmaceutical development projects from early- and late-stage development through clinical supply and commercial readiness.

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of project execution, ensuring that scope, timelines, budget and customer expectations are met. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and act as the main point of contact for the customer. The role offers plenty of responsibility, visibility and the opportunity to make a real impact in an international pharmaceutical environment.

 

This is a fixed-term position (parental leave) for approximately one year. We hope you could start latest in November 2026. The role is primarily site-based, with the possibility of partial remote work and flexible working hours. We also offer lunch and wellbeing benefits and leisure-time insurance.

 

What will you do?

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and drive projects towards agreed goals
  • Take ownership of project scope, timelines, budget and governance
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers and ensure a strong customer experience
  • Coordinate internal resources and ensure milestones and deliverables are met
  • Identify and manage project risks and communicate changes proactively
  • Work with Business Development on scope changes and customer communication
  • Monitor project performance and contribute to developing and sharing best practices in Project Management

 

What are we looking for?

  • Relevant university degree
  • Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • At least 5 years of Project Management experience, preferably in a CDMO environment
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and bring people together
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A pragmatic, structured and results-oriented approach
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to solve problems independently
  • Agility and confidence to operate in a changing environment
  • Fluent English dialogue skills
