Position Summary
The Project Manager – Material Delivery & Site Readiness will be responsible for driving the actions required to ensure timely, complete, and budget-compliant delivery of all materials, equipment, and site support packages needed for the MOX fuel fabrication project. This role will act as a key coordination point between procurement, logistics, engineering, construction, quality, and site operations to secure material readiness and avoid schedule impacts. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in large nuclear infrastructure or fuel-cycle projects, with a strong track record in project execution, cross-functional coordination, and international collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all actions contributing to the on-time and on-budget delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site.
  • Monitor procurement, fabrication, shipping, customs, receiving, storage, and site issue resolution.
  • Track critical materials, long-lead items, and site constraints, and proactively manage risks and recovery actions.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, logistics, suppliers, QA/QC, and project controls teams to resolve interface issues.
  • Ensure material readiness aligns with the project schedule, construction priorities, and commissioning needs.
  • Follow up supplier commitments, expediting actions, delivery milestones, and nonconformance resolution.
  • Support budget control through delivery performance monitoring, change identification, and mitigation of cost impacts.
  • Report progress, risks, and corrective actions to project leadership using structured KPI-based reporting.
  • Promote a strong nuclear safety, quality, compliance, and accountability culture.
  • Work effectively with U.S. and international stakeholders in a multicultural project environment.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, construction management, project management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project execution, material delivery, logistics coordination, or project management on major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong experience in nuclear construction, nuclear industrial facilities, or similarly complex regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to drive delivery performance across multiple interfaces and contractor organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of schedule control, issue management, expediting, and cost awareness.
  • Demonstrated experience working in international and multicultural project environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in nuclear fuel fabrication, MOX, enrichment, reprocessing, or other fuel-cycle projects.
  • Experience with long-lead procurement, site logistics, and construction material readiness in highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with EPC/EPCM delivery models and nuclear quality assurance expectations.
