About this role

Your mission & challenges

  • Administration and optimisation of the Aruba switching and Wi-Fi infrastructure including the 25G backbone

  • Design and maintenance of network segmentation (training cells, internal network)

  • Configuration and operation of firewall systems to secure network segments

  • QoS and bandwidth management to prioritise cloud upload of training data

  • Proactive monitoring and capacity planning; rapid resolution of network incidents

  • Implementation and ongoing development of Zero Trust access controls

  • Maintaining complete network documentation (topology diagrams, IP plans, runbooks)

  • Collaborating with developers on network requirements in product integration projects

  • Coordination with the HQ IT team on cross-site network topics and escalations

What we can look forward to

  • Degree in an IT-related field or completed IT apprenticeship, in both cases with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience

  • Extensive hands-on experience in network operations

  • Strong knowledge of switching, routing, and enterprise Wi-Fi; Aruba/HPE experience a clear advantage

  • Solid understanding of fundamental network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

  • Experience with high-throughput LAN environments and QoS configuration

  • Familiar with Zero Trust principles, VLAN-based segmentation, and firewall configuration

  • Analytical, methodical, composed under operational pressure

  • Fluent English, spoken and written (B2+)

  • Relevant certification (e.g. ACCP, CCNA, CCNP, or Network+) desirable
