Job Description
  • Lead the successful delivery of technology projects from initiation through deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical requirements, budget, scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Manage cross-functional teams across Business, Technology, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Vendors, and Operations to deliver complex projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive project planning, execution, governance, risk management, stakeholder communication, and delivery assurance while adhering to approved project management methodologies and standards.
  • Coordinate technical solution design, implementation activities, testing, deployment, and transition to support teams, ensuring business and operational readiness.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, delivery process optimisation, reporting automation, and PMO maturity across the Technology organisation.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple technology initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Coordinate project execution activities across internal teams, vendors, and third-party partners.
  • Manage project scope, change requests, and delivery priorities in accordance with approved governance processes.
  • Ensure deliverables meet business requirements, technical specifications, and operational readiness criteria.

Technical Leadership & Solution Delivery

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Development Teams, Infrastructure Teams, Security Teams, and Business Analysts to define and deliver technical solutions.
  • Facilitate architecture reviews, design discussions, technical assessments, and implementation planning activities.
  • Monitor technical dependencies, integration requirements, environment readiness, data migration activities, and deployment plans.
  • Support technical decision-making by evaluating delivery risks, implementation approaches, and solution options.
  • Ensure adherence to technology standards, security requirements, compliance controls, and enterprise architecture principles.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of progress, risks, issues, and decisions.
  • Engage with senior management, business owners, technology leaders, and external vendors to drive project alignment and delivery success.
  • Facilitate project steering committees, governance forums, workshops, and status review meetings.
  • Manage vendor performance, contractual deliverables, and third-party dependencies where applicable.

Project Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Maintain effective governance controls across project lifecycle stages, including initiation, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and closure.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID).
  • Track mitigation plans, escalations, action items, and key project decisions through to resolution.
  • Support audit, regulatory, security, and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Portfolio & Reporting Management

  • Prepare executive-level project status reports, dashboards, steering committee packs, and management updates.
  • Provide accurate reporting on project health, budget consumption, timelines, milestones, resource utilisation, and delivery performance.
  • Monitor project KPIs and recommend corrective actions where delivery performance deviates from agreed targets.
  • Maintain visibility of project priorities, critical initiatives, regulatory commitments, and strategic programmes.

Resource & Financial Management

  • Support resource planning, capacity management, budget tracking, and forecast activities across assigned projects.
  • Monitor project expenditures, vendor costs, and financial performance against approved budgets.
  • Identify resource constraints and collaborate with functional managers to secure appropriate project staffing.

Continuous Improvement & Delivery Excellence

  • Drive improvements in project delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, tools, templates, and reporting processes.
  • Promote Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery best practices as appropriate.
  • Support adoption and effective utilisation of tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Confluence, and related platforms.
  • Contribute to organisational project management maturity and delivery excellence initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience managing technology projects in banking, payments, fintech, telecommunications, or large enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing application development, system integration, infrastructure, cloud, digital transformation, or payment technology projects.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent are desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

This version reflects a Technical Project Manager responsible for delivery, technology implementation, and stakeholder management, while still retaining the governance and reporting strengths that are important in Network International's environment.
