As a Strategic Buyer – Field Activations at Nestlé Global Procurement, your mission is to turn category strategies into measurable business impact by applying the 7 Steps of Strategic Sourcing across your assigned spend areas. We operate on a truly global scale, bringing together over 40 nationalities across three dynamic hubs in Switzerland, Panama, and Malaysia. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with Procurement Managers, Marketing Leaders and suppliers. This is your chance to drive innovation, sustainability, and impact at scale, ensuring value creation through responsibly sourced supply across diverse categories.
How you’ll make an impact as a Strategic Buyer – Field Activations
- End to end management of RFx processes in alignment with the procurement strategy and business objectives.
- Contributing to the global sourcing strategy, implementing communication and supplier management plans
- Preparing and executing negotiation events - seeking best total cost of ownership (TCO) contracts and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers as approved by the Procurement Managers.
- Managing relationships with various stakeholders to integrate category plans and achieve results.
- Identifying opportunities and managing projects to achieve objectives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

- Proven success in a strategic procurement function, ideally within marketing or corporate services.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Curiosity, learning agility, and comfort navigating change and ambiguity.
- English and Spanish proficiency is critical to your success.
