The Workforce Forecasting and Planning Lead plays a key role in ensuring the organisation has the right people, with the right skills, in the right place, at the right time. Working closely with business leaders, HR colleagues and finance teams, the role supports evidence-based workforce planning by analysing workforce trends, identifying future capability needs and informing strategic workforce decisions.
The role combines analytical thinking with strong stakeholder engagement, helping translate workforce information into practical recommendations that support organisational priorities.
This role can be based in Warwick and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home. We are open to full time and part time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements.
This is a fixed term contract for 18 months.
Key Accountabilities
Supporting the development and delivery of the organisation's workforce planning approach.
Analysing workforce trends to identify current and future workforce risks and opportunities.
Contributing to short, medium and long-term workforce plans aligned to business priorities.
Supporting scenario planning to assess the impact of organisational change, growth or changing demand.
Presenting workforce insights in a clear and accessible way to a range of stakeholders.
Building strong relationships across the organisation to improve workforce planning capability.
Producing high-quality reports, dashboards and presentations that support decision-making.
Evaluating the effectiveness of workforce initiatives and planning activities.
Contributing to the development of workforce planning tools, templates and processes.
Promoting good practice in workforce planning across the organisation.
Working collaboratively with colleagues responsible for HR systems, finance and organisational development.

About You
Essential
Experience in workforce planning, HR, people analytics, business planning or a related analytical role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret information and identify trends.
Experience producing reports and presenting insights to stakeholders.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience using reporting tools.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
Desirable
Experience of workforce modelling or scenario planning
Knowledge of workforce planning methodologies and organisational design principles.
Familiarity with HR information systems and workforce reporting.
Understanding of labour market trends and workforce supply challenges.
Experience working in a complex or large organisation.
