Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Office - Dallas, TX 75240Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 HourlyJob Category: BankingOnline Account Sales Officers are critical to the development and growth of NCU. Officers process new member and various account applications received through online and mobile channels, while meeting or exceeding production goals. Responsible for cultivating relationships, cross-selling products, and services to new and existing members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Assumes responsibility for the effective and timely performance of assigned functions.
Accurately opens new savings, checking, Certificates of Deposit, club accounts and related services.
Audits accounts and follows credit union policies, principles and procedures when opening new accounts.
Proactively solicits online through chat, email, and phone. Responds to inquiries in reference to new accounts.
Actively markets and cross-sells current and new products, to educate members online.
Maintains ownership and takes accountability for meeting and or exceeding monthly production goals.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional business relations with members, other financial institutions, and merchants.
Maintains substantial knowledge of credit union products and services as related to policies, including preventing fraud.
Embraces Neighborhood Credit Union’s core values and building financial relationships in our communities.
Provides excellent service to members, provide problem resolution, and adhere to Neighborhood Credit Union standards and policies.
Represents a Leader-Leader mentality and professionalism when coordinating with members.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relations with Company personnel and with management.
Collaborates and coordinates with individuals within Neighborhood Credit Union.
Maintains a professional work attitude and represents a leader-leader role with co- workers and management.
Understands cultural awareness and ability to work in a team environment.
Contributes to the success of Neighborhood Credit Union by exemplifying core values.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Assists member services with tasks via email, phone, or chat, as needed.
Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High school graduate or equivalent.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of credit union products and services.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One to three years of related experience.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent communication and public relations skills.
Ability to analyze accounts.
Attentive to detail and able to multi-task.
Ability to assist others.
Able to use 10-key, PC, telephone, and all related business equipment.
