Essential Qualifications

-University Degree and 4 years post related experience, or Higher Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 5 years post related and 2 years function related experıence.

-Experience in providing advice and guidance to the security authorities/advisors and coordinating security matters for organizations.

-Experience in formulating security policies and plans in accordance with directives and guidelines.

-Experience in implementing security requirements on information and intelligence and security awareness programs including training and education.

-Experience in managing security violations and breaches within the organization.

-Experience in conducting site security surveys to support site security compliance with security policies and conducting security assurance and governance of subordinate entities.

-English Language - NATO Standart Language Proficiency - LSRW (Listening-Speaking-Reading-Writing) - 3333

Desirable Qualification

-Minimum 3 years of experience as Security Officer at Division Level or higher in NATO or other similar civilian organizations.

Job Description

1-As the HQ LANDCOM Staff Officer (Security) / Command Security Advisor (CSyA), provide security advice and guidance to the HQ LANDCOM Security Authority and the Principle Security Advisor.

2-To coordinate all security matters within HQ LANDCOM in close coordination with the HQSO, and with other national/NATO agencies, commands and organizations in peacetime and operations.

3-To be responsible for the formulation of the HQ LANDCOM Security Policies and plans in accordance with ACO Security Directives.

4-To be responsible for the implementation of the ACO requirements on Information and Intelligence Sharing with Non-NATO Entities within HQ LANDCOM.

5-To be responsible for the implementation of the ACO Security awareness program, including training and education within HQ LANDCOM.

6-To manage security violations and breaches within HQ LANDCOM.

7-To maintain close liaison with SHAPE J2X.

8-To conduct Site Security Surveys to support Site Security Compliance with NATO Security Policy.

9-To conduct Security Assurance and Governance of HQ LANDCOM subordinate entities for which Security oversight responsibility exists.

Contract and duration of employment:

Initial contract for a period of 6 months, possibility of 6 months extension.(The maximum duration of a temporary employment cannot exceed three years.)
