About this role
Join us as a Team Manager within a highly respected team at the forefront of protecting Nationwide and its members from financial crime. In this rewarding leadership role, you’ll lead and develop a team of telephony investigators in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, gaining exposure to a broad range of fraud typologies and emerging economic crime trends. With the autonomy to shape your team’s success, you’ll have the opportunity to strengthen your leadership expertise, influence outcomes, and make a genuine impact every day.
As a confident and inspiring people leader, you’ll coach and support your team to deliver exceptional results while using data, insights, and management information to drive performance and continuous improvement. You’ll make balanced, risk-based decisions, produce clear and compelling reports for a variety of audiences, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, confidently challenging and influencing where needed. Creativity and fresh thinking are encouraged, giving you the freedom to refine processes, enhance controls, and improve customer outcomes.
This is more than just a management role. It’s an opportunity to play a vital part in preventing fraud and combating money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions breaches, and bribery and corruption, helping to keep customers safe and secure. If you’re looking for a role where you can develop, lead with purpose, and make a meaningful difference, we’d love to hear from you. Please note that Saturday working is required as part of this position.
We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best.
This is a 12-month secondment opportunity.
At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works.
Nationwide is committed to the redeployment of our employees impacted by change, as such applications for redeployment candidates will be prioritised in this recruitment process.
