About this role

At Nationwide, we know that delivering an outstanding customer experience starts with creating an exceptional colleague experience. That's why we're looking for a strategic and passionate Colleague Enablement Senior Manager to join our Colleague Engagement & Enablement team and play a key role in shaping how our people learn, grow, and succeed.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team responsible for delivering high-impact enablement initiatives that support colleague onboarding, development, engagement, and performance across Retail & Customer Operations. Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, you'll provide inspirational leadership, coaching and direction to your team, ensuring the successful delivery of programmes that empower colleagues to do their best work every day. You'll help design and deliver strategies that build capability, strengthen engagement, and create a high-performing culture across the business.

As part of Business Services, you'll be joining a shared service function that supports the teams responsible for protecting, supporting and serving our customers. Through your leadership, team management expertise and strategic vision, you'll drive continuous improvement, foster collaboration, and ensure your team delivers a best-in-class colleague experience that contributes directly to Nationwide's ambition of delivering a simply brilliant customer experience at every touchpoint.

At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.

For this job you'll be located at our nearest regional office or hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration and in some locations you’ll be expected to spend at least two days a week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, in the office. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works.

Nationwide is committed to the redeployment of our employees impacted by change, as such applications for redeployment candidates will be prioritised in this recruitment process.

If you’re a colleague on long-term absence (for example, on parental leave) or a temporary worker, please use your personal email address to submit an application.
