About this role

As a Senior Analyst within Banking & Savings, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact in a business that looks after nearly £1 in every £8 saved in the UK. Working across millions of savings and current accounts, you’ll use complex, high volume data to uncover meaningful insights, helping to shape pricing strategies, monitor performance and support future planning. By identifying trends in customer and market behaviour, you’ll turn data into clear, compelling recommendations that shape pricing strategy, influence senior decision-making and help drive the long-term success of Banking & Savings.

We’re looking for a naturally curious and proactive analyst who enjoys solving problems, exploring data and uncovering the story behind the numbers. You'll be comfortable challenging assumptions, identifying opportunities and risks, and using insight to support strategic discussions and decision making. You’ll also be confident working with large datasets, developing and maintaining reporting and analytical tools, and delivering both regular MI (management information) and ad-hoc analysis, including supporting pricing integration activities. Strong numerical and technical skills, combined with the ability to simplify complex information and build effective relationships with stakeholders, will be key to your success.

You’ll join a collaborative and supportive team that is passionate about understanding market dynamics and delivering great outcomes for our members. In return, you’ll have the chance to work alongside knowledgeable colleagues, contribute to the financial performance of our products and play an important role in helping Nationwide build a resilient future through insightful analysis and informed decision-making.

We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best.

At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Swindon or London office. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works.
