About this role

Join us as a Product Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of banking as Virgin Money Savings and Current Account products are integrated into Nationwide. This is a unique opportunity to influence key product decisions, guide complex migration strategies and make a lasting impact on customer outcomes. We're looking for an experienced product professional with strong expertise in Savings or Current Accounts, who thrives in navigating complexity, building relationships and driving meaningful change across a large scale transformation programme.

As a recognised subject matter expert, you'll work with a wide range of stakeholders to develop and shape product propositions, assess opportunities, influence strategic decisions and help deliver seamless customer experiences. You'll bring a strong background in Financial Services, with experience leading end-to-end product delivery, business change or transformation initiatives, alongside excellent problem solving skills, commercial awareness and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. A curious mindset, resilience and confidence operating in ambiguous environments will be key to your success.

Reporting into the Retail Product Integration team, you'll be part of a collaborative group focused on delivering outstanding customer outcomes and long-term commercial success. Working alongside product specialists and partnering with teams across the Society, you'll help ensure integration decisions align with Nationwide's strategic objectives while successfully delivering products and propositions that meet the needs of both the business and its members.

We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best.

This is a 24-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity.

At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.

For this job you'll be located at our nearest regional office or hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration and in some locations you’ll be expected to spend at least two days a week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, in the office. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works.

If we receive a high volume of relevant applications, we may close the advert earlier than the advertised date, so please apply as soon as you can.
