About this role

We are looking for a Business Development Representative with 6+ months of outbound prospecting experience to join NationGraph's growing sales team and build pipeline for our AI-native procurement platform targeting the $2T+ state, local, and education (SLED) market. You'll be an early hire at a Series A company backed by Menlo Ventures, with a clear path to AE promotion within 3-6 months for strong performers.

What will you be doing?

Running heavy outbound prospecting via cold calling, cold conferences, and building your own AI-powered outbound campaigns

Navigating to the right decision makers and champions within prospect organizations

Conducting discovery calls and qualifying opportunities with strong business acumen

Researching accounts and crafting personalized outreach to vendors selling into government

Collaborating in-person with a tight-knit sales team to generate and convert pipeline

Key Requirements

At least 6 months of full-time outbound BDR/SDR experience (not fresh out of undergrad)

Strong business acumen — understands how to identify and reach the right decision makers, not just surface-level outreach

Comfortable with cold calling and building outbound campaigns using AI tools

Must be based in or willing to relocate to Fort Lauderdale, FL for in-person work

Not a career BDR (3.5+ years without promotion) — looking for high performers hungry to move up quickly
