Key Responsibilities for HVAC Service Technician Instructors
- Teach HVAC Technologies classes, following Lincoln Tech's accredited curriculum
- Conduct hands-on training sessions to enhance student skills in our fully equipped facility
- Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student growth, professionalism, and accountability
- Monitor and support student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that align with industry standards
- Stay current with HVAC technologies and practices to provide up-to-date training
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to improve program effectiveness and student outcomes
- Prepare students for certification exams and successful careers in HVAC Technology
Requirements for HVAC Service Technician Instructors
- 3+ years' HVAC Technician experience in the HVAC field
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students in a learning environment
- Passion for teaching and mentoring future professionals
- Teaching experience is not required; a desire to educate and inspire is essential
