PRODUCTION OPERATOR
About this role
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS Duties include but are not limited to Validate the availability of all required documents (JFT, PCC, Drawings, etc.) prior to new job start-up in order to minimize downtime and insure production consistency. Operate machine as per the Work Instructions in order to insure a safe and sound runability. Troubleshoot problems and request support upon need, in order to minimize downtime and improve efficiency. Check and sign winding samples and relay them samples to the section Team Leader for his approval before passing same for QC inspection to ensure quality of the start-up run. Regularly check product quality and provide samples to QC for continuous inspection to ensure a quality run. Report any quality defects to QC and Team Leader to take any necessary action. Fill Repair Request, relay it to the Team Leader for approval, forward it to Maintenance for intervention and validate the repair result once Maintenance reparation is complete. Assign tasks to Helpers and Skilled Helpers to insure an organized run, and sustain the 5S conditions of his machines and surrounding work place. Check and sign product labels and pallet labels to insure that correct packing mode is followed. Fill the Production Report documenting all Production activities, enter related data into the ERP system and by shift end, relay Production Report to Team Leader for checking and approval. Prepare Process Control Cards for new orders and relay them to the Team Leader/Production Engineers for approval in order to insure production consistency. Label left-over Material and mixed left-over formulations prior to dispatching them back to the WH or Material feeding and mixing zones. Ensures that Good Manufacturing Programs are implemented on his machines and report any discrepancies to the team leader/ supervisors.
