About this role

Role: Inside Sales & Field Application Specialist

Location: Tolochenaz, Switzerland

Start Date: ASAP

Job Description

We're looking for a scientifically trained inside sales specialist to help generate and qualify opportunities and run demonstrations accelerating conversion - all from our Swiss headquarters.

It's a dual role combining inside sales and application support, built for a scientist who's energised by the commercial side of science. You're equally comfortable qualifying a researcher's fit over a call and walking a customer through a live imaging demonstration. If you have a life-sciences background and want to move closer to the commercial frontline of a cutting-edge technology, this is a rare bridge between the two.

What you will do

Inside sales

  • Generate and qualify opportunities for our direct sales team through targeted, trigger-based prospecting and discovery calls.
  • Follow up on and re-engage marketing-generated leads, running structured outreach that turns interest into qualified pipeline.
  • Apply your scientific judgment to assess each prospect's research fit before handing over sales-qualified leads.
  • Manage lead data and pipeline in the CRM, and feed insight back to sales and marketing.
  • Support partners in identifying and qualifying opportunities in their markets

Application Support

  • Evaluate, organise and perform product demonstrations - in-house, remote, and occasionally on-site.
  • Provide scientific and application support to customers and partners, advising on experimental fit and helping them get results from the platform.
  • Strengthen distributor partners' application competence through remote demo evaluation and field demo support.
  • Bring application insight from customer interactions back to sales, marketing and product.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum B.S. in cell biology or a related field (PhD or MSc preferred).
  • 2-4 years’ Commercial experience in a life-sciences setting - or strong evidence you can bridge the bench and the commercial side.
  • Confidence presenting and demonstrating to a scientific audience both in person and remotely.
  • Able to work independently and travel internationally as needed.
  • Valid Swiss work permit (driving licence is a plus).
  • Enthusiasm to introduce a new technology to the market, self-motivated and resilient.
  • Organised and data-disciplined; comfortable working in a CRM (Salesforce ideal).
  • Good communication skills; proficiency in English (additional languages a plus).

What we can offer

You will get the opportunity to work in a fast-growing company with highly motivated, competent and experienced individuals, and make a real difference for our customers. You will be working with a cutting-edge technology and facing the exclusive challenge of making it accessible to a wide audience by implementing creative solutions.
