Payroll Officer
About this role
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare employee vacation settlements, including leave salary, accrued leave, and other applicable benefits.
Process employee end-of-service settlements, including gratuity, leave encashment, pending salary, and final dues in accordance with UAE Labour Law and company policies.
Enter and maintain employee deductions in the payroll system, including salary advances, loans, unpaid leave, absences, and other approved deductions.
Verify employee records, payroll data, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy before processing settlements.
Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Payroll teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely settlement processing.
Ensure all settlement calculations comply with company policies, legal requirements, and internal procedures.
Maintain accurate payroll and settlement records while ensuring the confidentiality of employee information.
Prepare settlement reports, reconcile payroll-related transactions, and support monthly payroll and final settlement activities.
Ensure timely processing of employee settlements to provide a smooth separation experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Payroll, HR, or Finance certifications are an added advantage.
