About this role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Junior Event Coordinator Intern to join our team for the months of September, October and November. In this role, you will assist our corporate communications and operations division in planning, organizing, and executing internal and external corporate events, investor webinars, stakeholder roundtables, and team-building workshops.

This position is ideal for an aspiring event professional looking to apply theoretical event management concepts to the corporate finance sector. You will work closely with senior management to streamline timelines, draft logistical run-of-shows, and coordinate digital engagement strategies. Structured at roughly 15 hours per week, this role provides an immersive learning environment while remaining compatible with academic schedules and international student curricular requirements (such as CPT/internship credits).

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Logistics & Planning: Assist in researching virtual and hybrid venue options, managing guest lists, and tracking RSVPs for investor summits and corporate mixers.
  • Vendor & Material Coordination: Help draft briefing packets, design digital invitations or presentation templates, and communicate with external vendors or speakers.
  • Day-of Support: Provide remote back-end technical and logistical support during live virtual events, webinars, or hybrid conferences.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Organize feedback surveys, compile attendance analytics, and draft summary reports to help leadership measure event ROI.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Event Management, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, Canva, or project management software).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently in a remote work environment.

What You Will Learn

  • Corporate Event Architecture: Gain hands-on experience designing and executing professional corporate gatherings, investment seminars, and client-facing experiences.
  • Project & Time Management: Master the art of balancing multiple timelines, vendor schedules, and digital run-of-shows efficiently.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Learn how to communicate professionally with corporate executives, external partners, and diverse client bases.
  • Digital Event Production: Build technical proficiency in managing interactive virtual platforms and hybrid event technology.
