About this role
- Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, pleadings, submissions, and other court-related documentation.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including case management, mediation, hearings, trials, and other litigation matters.
- Provide legal advice and attend meetings with clients to discuss case strategies and progress.
- Handle additional legal assignments and responsibilities as delegated by the firm.
- Position available in Kuala Lumpur or Penang.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in civil litigation.
- Proven ability to independently manage hearings, trials, and other litigation proceedings.
- Experience handling appellate court matters will be considered an added advantage.
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) and admission as an Advocate & Solicitor, qualified to practise law.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Detail-oriented, well-organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.
