Job Responsibilities
- Handle full spectrum of accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Treasury and general accounting activities.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, financial reports and analysis.
- Prepare tax computations and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, Public Rulings, guidelines and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and monitor cash flow projections, working closely with bankers on financing facilities and banking matters.
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash book updates, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
- Review and process supplier invoices, staff claims and payment transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare payments to suppliers, statutory authorities, employees and other relevant parties.
- Maintain proper and up-to-date accounting records, supporting documents and filing systems.
- Liaise with external auditors and assist in coordinating the year-end audit process, ensuring all required schedules and supporting documents are prepared.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with applicable Financial Reporting Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents and other external parties on accounting, financing and statutory matters.
- Provide support on financial and accounting matters related to property development projects, where required.
- Perform other ad hoc finance and accounting duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Preferably 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Candidates with property development, construction or real estate industry exposure will have an added advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
