Accounts Manager

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for accounting-related matters.
  
• Review financial statements, management accounts, and accounting work prepared by the team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  
• Plan resources effectively and allocate assignments across the team.
  
• Provide coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training to develop team members' technical competencies.
  
• Review work performed by clients' accounting personnel and provide recommendations for improvement where necessary.
  
• Monitor staff performance and support their professional development.
  
• Track work progress and ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
  
• Advise clients on accounting, financial reporting, and tax-related matters while maintaining strong client relationships.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or client accounting services.
  
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and accounting best practices.
  
• Experience reviewing financial reports and analysing financial information.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CA are advantageous but not mandatory.
