Mustang Cat is hiring a Heavy Equipment Lube Technician for the Field Service department.

As a Heavy Equipment Lube Technician, your primary responsibility is to determine the status of services needed for various heavy and light construction equipment and perform the necessary repairs and maintenance to restore the equipment to proper operation.
Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic Position Requirements:
- Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Associates degree or certificate from a technical school preferred
- Previous mechanic work or military experience
- Strong understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
- Welding experience preferred
- Ability to demonstrate technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting abilities to define and perform necessary repairs
Additional Experience Strongly Preferred for Heavy Equipment Technicians/Mechanics:
- Mechanic experience on Frac Transmissions (disassembly and assembly/rebuild)
- Experience with welding fabrication, arc welding, metal inert gas welding, arc gouging, and use of an oxyacetylene torch
- Technical experience with hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors
Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic levels and compensation rates are determined by skill set, knowledge, and experience.
