Position Summary: 

The Project Manager/ Technical Manager provides strategic, operational, and technical leadership to ensure the successful management and growth of the soccer club. This role oversees player development, league compliance, financial accountability, and long-term planning while ensuring the club operates efficiently and professionally. This position demands proven leadership, excellent organizational abilities, sound financial management, strong communication skills, and a thorough understanding of youth soccer development and club operations. 


Key Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with organizing bodies (e.g., CMSA, KidSport, community partners) to ensure compliance and strong working relationships. 


● Ensure all seasonal deadlines (registrations, league submissions, documentation) are met and operations remain on schedule. 


● Oversee club operations to ensure programs and projects run smoothly. 


● Manage and monitor club finances, budgeting, and financial reporting. 


● Coordinate and oversee annual memberships and league affiliations. 


● Develop, review, and approve club policies and governance standards. 


● Address disciplinary matters, resolve conflicts, and support problem-solving across teams and staff. 


● Collaborate with coaches, summer students, volunteer recruitment to maintain technical standards and address program challenges. 


● Serve as final decision-maker on player placements and division entries. 


● Oversee long-term player development, retention strategies, and overall technical growth of the club. 


● Lead long-term strategic initiatives, including facility acquisition and club expansion. 


● Oversee club communications and social media presence to ensure consistent branding and engagement. 


● Sponsorship development and community partnership building.


Parent & Community Relations:

● Act as the primary point of contact for parent concerns, inquiries, and escalations. 


● Communicate club policies, expectations, and development philosophy clearly and professionally. 


● Mediate and resolve parent-player-coach conflicts in a fair and constructive manner. 


● Provide transparency regarding player placement decisions and development pathways. 


● Promote a positive, respectful club culture among families and members.
