Job Description:

The Research Assistant supports curriculum development initiatives by conducting research, organizing information, and contributing to the design and improvement of educational materials. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, review, and organize literature and models for curriculum trends, educational standards, and best practices.
  • Analyze existing curricula to identify areas for improvement and enhancement, if needed.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from educators, students, and stakeholders to inform curriculum design.
  • Maintain organized records of research findings, drafts, and revisions.
  • Support the alignment of curriculum content with MAC’s goals, standards, and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the team and subject experts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Assist senior researchers and curriculum specialists in project planning and execution.
  • Assist the team in resource development.
  • Assist the team with basic data collection, input, analysis, and other tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards in all deliverables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
