About this role
Job DetailsJob Location: Garden City, NY 11530Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 Salary/yearWho We Are
Muse Paintbar is a guided painting experience with 26 studios across the East Coast. Acrylic paint, easels, a bar and kitchen, and a few hundred people a week who show up, fully confident that they have no artistic ability whatsoever. They leave with a painting they're proud of and a good story. We're not a gallery, and we're not a classroom. We're a great night out that happens to involve a paintbrush.
Who You Are
You've managed a team before, and you're good at it. You can read a room, fix a problem before anyone notices it happened, and get a nervo first-timer, both customer and employee, to loosen up. You're comfortable painting with acrylics, and you don't mind being on stage. You like the fact that no two nights look the same.
The Role
The Store Manager runs the studio. Daily operations, the team, the customer experience, and the sales that come out of all three. You'll be hands-on in every part of it, from teaching a session to counting inventory to sitting down with a team member about their goals.

Drive sales through the way you and the team talk to guests
Keep the space looking right: cleanliness, organization, and marketing displays set to company standards

Regular check-ins with your Regional Manager on sales, staffing, operations, and inventory
Submit accurate inventory counts and orders, and process weekly deliveries
Handle in-studio customer complaints quickly and professionally, escalating the complicated ones
Enforce alcohol service, safety, and cash handling procedures
Submit maintenance and facility tickets as needed
Collaborate with your Regional Manager on feedback for development and advancement
Other responsibilities as they come up
