Middle Office - Reporting and Process Automation Intern
Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027
Job Description
The role is a part of MO - RRH (Middle Office – Regional Reporting Hub) and is expected to work on reporting and process automation initiatives undertaken by the team.
As a Reporting and Process Automation Intern within the Regional Reporting Hub (RRH), you will gain hands-on experience in reporting, analytics, process improvement, and automation while working alongside experienced professionals supporting regional operations across APAC.
During your internship, you will have opportunities to:
- Learn how reporting and data-driven processes support business and operational decision-making within a global banking environment.
• Assist in automation initiatives using technologies such as Excel VBA, MS Access, Python, Power Platform, and other approved tools.
• Develop practical skills in data analysis, validation, and quality control to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports.
• Work with the team to identify process improvement opportunities and help streamline existing workflows.
• Participate in the testing and implementation of reporting and automation solutions, gaining exposure to project delivery practices.
• Support the creation of process documentation, user guides, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Contribute to testing activities, including data reconciliation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue tracking.
• Contribute to ad-hoc reporting, analytics, and project initiatives that support regional business objectives.

Job Requirements
We are looking for motivated candidate who are eager to learn and develop practical skills in reporting, analytics, automation, and process improvement.
You should:
• Be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Have a strong interest in reporting, analytics, automation, and technology-driven process improvement.
• Familiarity with databases, data visualization, or workflow automation tools.
• Be comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Possess knowledge of one or more technologies such as Python, VBA, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar tools.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be self-motivated, proactive, and keen to learn in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Academic, internship, or personal project experience related to data analysis, reporting, or automation.
