About this role

Role Purpose/Accountabilities

To provide exposure and training to interns interested to obtain a thorough understanding in Process Safety in upstream Oil & Gas industry. Job scope includes:

    • Establish SECE barrier management – assist in developing barrier ownership framework, technical and administrative support in developing relevant materials for promotion and institutionalization of the recommended practices
    • Support for upcoming IPF revalidation study planned in October
    • Effectiveness review of Process Safety Information (PSI) implementation – assist in review of documentation revisions, process safety critical documents (i.e. PSI) in CDGen and ASSAI and update of PSI Register
    • Other supporting activities for HSSE team

Pre-Requisite

Malaysian studying full-time at local/overseas universities.

Academic Qualification: Studying Bachelor/Master Degree. Achieved minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 at the point of internship application.

Field of Study: Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering

  • Good written and oral communication in English
  • Good computer skills Microsoft Office application
  • Good interpersonal skills with positive attitude
  • Motivated to learn and improve knowledge and skills
  • Leadership experience and capabilities through extra-curricular activities
