Job Description

Site Digital Technology Lead performs the role of overall coordination of Information/Operational Technology (IT/OT) operations at the site and provides IT/OT account management for site business leadership team. This individual ensures continuous alignment of IT/OT and business goals and provides business enabling solutions in line with global IT/OT strategy.

This leader ensures compliance of all IT/OT projects and activities undertaken on site as well as smooth operations of IT/OT systems utilized by site.

Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Accountable for all relevant Digital Technology operations carried out at the site, ensuring that appropriate support to site operations is maintained, and that all operational activities are compliant with regulatory, safety, cyber-security, business continuity and financial requirements

  • Leadership of local site IT team

  • Participate in the development of the Site Strategy and long-term Business Development Plan and provide leadership and direction to the business on a Digital Technology Strategy

  • Drive transformational change, continuous technological improvement, and innovation at the site

  • Accountable for the successful implementation of Digital Technology projects at the site – including where this is part of a larger initiative

  • Build a bridge, and shared understanding, between our local and global IT Teams

  • Act as IT Single Point of Contact for the site, provide business stakeholders necessary feedback and input for business projects and IT operations

  • Continuously manage the site Digital Technology budget to meet annual profit plan targets; identify and achieve cost savings opportunities on both capital and expense spend

  • Ensures SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) and CSV (Computer System Validation) compliance according to the our company’s guidelines

  • Brings together the right stakeholders to ensure compliance and sustainability of IT solutions

  • Participate in regulatory audits of the site

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology/Science

  • MS or MBA preferred

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 3+ years of related IT and/or Automation leader

  • Experience with Digital transformation in large organization

  • Experience with working in a matrix organization environment and ability to influence other business leader

  • Proven ability to communicate with and manage senior stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills with ability to align the organization on complex technical decisions

  • Strong experience with agile principles

Functional & Technical Competencies:

  • Demonstrated background knowledge of healthcare manufacturing processes

  • Understanding of GxP regulated environment and validation requirements

  • Fluent English speaking and writing

  • Vendor management

  • Lean/Six Sigma literacy
