Your Purpose

MSC Cruises, the world’s fastest-growing cruise brand, is seeking a Marketing Analytics Contractor to join our South Florida–based North America Marketing team. In this role, you will support marketing analytics re-baselining initiatives by aligning metric definitions, validating performance data across marketing platforms, and reconciling metrics between legacy and newly implemented applications spanning email, SMS, and web analytics. Key responsibilities include executing dual-tracked testing between Marketo and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), validating measurements during the transition from Google Analytics to Adobe Analytics, and developing reporting and dashboards to identify discrepancies, monitor performance, and ensure consistent, reliable reporting. You will communicate findings and recommendations to the Direct Marketing and Analytics teams, helping drive informed, data-driven decision-making.

Your Impact

  • Define, align, and document marketing metric definitions across Marketo, Google Analytics, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Analytics, and other marketing platforms to ensure consistent and reliable performance measurement.
  • Audit and document email, SMS, and digital channel tracking methodologies, including channel-grouping and attribution logic, to ensure consistent measurement and reporting across analytics platforms.
  • Execute dual-tracking, testing, and validation between legacy and new platforms, including Marketo and AJO, to identify variances, reconcile results, and validate data accuracy throughout platform migrations.
  • Compare and reconcile performance metrics across legacy and newly implemented marketing applications, with a focus on email, SMS, web, and other digital marketing channels.
  • Analyze and validate web analytics data during the transition from Google Analytics to Adobe Analytics, identify differences in tracking and reporting methodologies, and recommend strategies to resolve discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain reconciliation dashboards and reporting tools that normalize metrics across platforms and provide stakeholders with a consistent view of marketing performance.
  • Leverage existing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data assets to analyze performance trends, investigate anomalies, and identify measurement or data-quality issues.
  • Design and build dashboards, scorecards, and analytical reports that provide visibility into testing outcomes, platform migration progress, data reconciliation, and overall marketing performance.
  • Identify data-quality issues, tracking gaps, attribution discrepancies, and reporting inconsistencies. Partner with internal teams to conduct root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations, and present results to Direct Marketing, Analytics, and other key stakeholders to support business and technology decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Analytics, Technology, and Data to establish and maintain accurate tracking, reporting, attribution, and measurement frameworks throughout marketing technology migrations and optimization initiatives.

Your Journey so far

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics, business intelligence, data analysis, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and customer engagement platforms such as Marketo and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
  • Strong understanding of email, SMS, web, and digital marketing performance metrics and measurement frameworks.
  • Experience supporting marketing technology migrations, platform transitions, or large-scale analytics transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience comparing, reconciling, and validating data across multiple marketing and analytics systems.
  • Hands-on experience with web analytics platforms including Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics, with a strong understanding of tracking methodologies and metric definitions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, data visualization, and performance reporting.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to query, validate, reconcile, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, lookups, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Experience designing and executing data validation, QA testing, and measurement audits to identify reporting discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
