Digital Content Specialist
About this role
Job Purpose
The Digital Content Specialist – Post-Booking is responsible for the end-to-end management, configuration, and publication of digital On-Board Revenue (OBR) content, product and campaigns. This role oversees the content lifecycle and quality control for post-booking digital products - such as excursions, on board items/bundles and promotional offers - while executing commercial and promotional campaigns to enable D2C sales and boost revenue.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of On-Board Revenue (OBR) content, from content collection and intake of business inputs to setup, configuration, coordination of delivery activities across sites, publication across digital channels, and go-live validation, acting as the final owner of OBR content publication and execution. This includes configuring and publishing campaigns, promotional activities, merchandising initiatives and product updates, ensuring content is correctly updated across D2C platforms, validated for accuracy and functionality, and released in line with agreed timelines and business requirements, in alignment with corporate calendars, product needs and commercial priorities.
- Upload, maintain, and optimize product content, including Excursions, OBR items, product and on board contents, visual assets, Terms & Conditions, and FAQs, while also managing content updates, configuration, and publication across related landing pages, booking funnel, and personal area, ensuring accuracy, consistency, customer relevance and full alignment with commercial objectives and product specifications.
- Act as a global content operations point of contact, collaborating with markets and stakeholders as needed to support content updates and help ensure local websites remain aligned with central content and campaign implementations.
- Act as an operational reference and coordination point for post-booking digital content and operations within the My Area environment, supporting the end-to-end management and implementation of customer-facing content including informational notes, commercial initiatives, itinerary content, MSC Voyagers Club contents and Web Check-in flow, ensuring timely execution, consistency, and alignment across central and local stakeholders and digital touchpoints.
- Act as the final owner of content publication, validating content readiness, functionality, and accuracy before release.
- Upload, configure, and test new product codes and related content within the assigned area, ensuring correct implementation and customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with Digital, Product, OBR, Shorex, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of content, campaigns, and business priorities.
- Support the continuous enhancement of content management processes, governance, and best practices to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.

- Ancillary products knowledge
- Travel Industry experience
- Expertise on Adobe Experience Manager is required; knowledge of Sitecore is a plus
- Reservation Systems logics
- HTML basic knowledge
- English professional expertise

What we offer
In compliance with the applicable pay transparency legislation, the following information is provided regarding the initial compensation foreseen for the position.
Contract
- Applicable Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): “Addetti agli uffici ed ai terminals delle società di navigazione che esercitano l’armamento privato” – sez. personale di terra
- Gross annual salary (RAL): between €25.000 – €32.000 gross per year, paid over 14 monthly installments
- Meal vouchers: worth €8 per on-site working day
The offer in terms of salary will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, technical competencies, and the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned to the role.
