Responsibilities

3rd Shift - (10:15 pm - 6:15 am)  Sunday through Friday morning

Training may be required on 1st Shift 6:30 am – 3:00 pm

Starting Pay Rate $25.02/hr - plus Shift Differential

Now hiring for a TCM Spray Painter at our Murrysville, PA manufacturing plant.  In this role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

  • Cleaning TCM hats prior to loading hats on paint booth fixtures and spraying with paint. 
  • Unloading hats from paint both fixtures and packs hats for shipment. Also responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of paint guns.
  • Maintaining inventory of supplies used within the paint line such as paints and other chemicals etc. and completing required paperwork and material handling duties. 
  • Assembly of lamp brackets/cord holders and lugs when needed.
  • Assembly of hat accessory shells when needed. 
  • Performing set-ups and adjustments on the paint booth, including performing basic preventative maintenance activities such as oiling/greasing.  
  • Responsible for quarterly thorough clean-up of booth.  
  • Sawing and grinding excess material from hats using band saws and surface grinders.
  • Using rivet machine to apply rivets to various shells.
  • Preparing raw material including cutting material that is us in the process.
  • Operating punch press and clicker if needed.
  • Visually inspecting and maintaining relevant paperwork.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Reading and understanding drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
  • Understanding standard units of measure.
  • Set-up and interpreting results of various measuring devices.
  • Lifting, 30 pounds without assistance.
  • Performing standard software operations..
  • Maintaining established inventory levels.
  • Using power and hand tools.
  • Operation of simple machines.
  • Effectively communicating with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporaries.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Prioritizing and organizing work.
  • Wearing an air purifying respirator (FIT test will be required)
  • Performing lockout/tagout.
  • Obtaining a fork truck license.
  • Operating at a level that meets or exceed quality and productivity standards for the work area.
  • Working in a team environment.
  • Wearing ANSE Z87 approved safety glasses, steel toe shoes and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis.
