At MUFG Pension & Market Services, we're looking for a Client Relationship Manager to join our Melbourne team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of corporate clients, becoming their trusted advisor while ensuring the successful delivery of our market-leading services.

Working closely with internal stakeholders across the business, you'll play a key role in strengthening client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring an outstanding client experience from onboarding through to major corporate events.

About the Role

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients. You'll anticipate client needs, provide strategic guidance, coordinate service delivery and ensure every client receives an exceptional level of service.

This role offers a broad mix of relationship management, project coordination and commercial responsibility, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients while collaborating across multiple business teams.

Key Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing and growing relationships with an assigned portfolio of corporate clients.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and strategic discussions.
  • Understanding client objectives and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Coordinating major client projects, including Annual General Meetings and corporate actions.
  • Managing service delivery to agreed service levels while working closely with internal operational teams.
  • Preparing client reporting, monitoring service performance and resolving issues promptly.
  • Managing fee discussions, invoicing and debt collection activities.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand existing client relationships through additional products and services.
  • Building strong internal partnerships to ensure seamless delivery across the business.
  • Ensuring services are delivered in accordance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations.
About You

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience managing client relationships within financial services or another professional services environment.
  • A proven ability to build trusted relationships with corporate clients.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience identifying opportunities to grow client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Experience within share registry, employee share plans, corporate markets, trustee services, banking, funds management, wealth management or other financial services environments will be highly regarded.
