Analyst Programmer

Overview
- Support delivery of system enhancements and development initiatives for retirement solutions systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, coding standards, and system performance
- Build foundational knowledge of business processes, products, and technology platforms
- Perform hands-on coding, system development, and configuration tasks based on functional and technical specifications
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain application components and system features
- Support system integration and data processing activities
- Assist in unit testing and support SIT/UAT testing activities
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and escalate complex problems where required
- Maintain accurate technical and system documentation
- Follow established software development lifecycle (SDLC), coding standards, and DevOps practices
- Support production releases and post-implementation activities
- Collaborate effectively with developers, analysts, and cross-functional teams
- Seek guidance from senior team members and actively learn new technologies and practices
- Contribute positively to team objectives and knowledge sharing
- Adhere to IT governance, risk, and compliance requirements in all development activities
- Ensure system security, data protection, and integrity standards are followed
- Comply with change management, release processes, and internal controls
- Support audit and risk review activities where applicable
- 3- 5 years of experience in software development or programming
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python or similar)
- Understanding of system development, coding, and configuration concepts
- Familiarity with databases (SQL) and basic system integration concepts
- Exposure to SDLC, Agile, or DevOps practices is advantageous
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical capabilities
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work with guidance from senior team members
- Good communication and teamwork skills
