- Testing all aspects of the product/system including function/component, system, performance, regression and service, integration, API, and user acceptance testing
- Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases
- Lead risk-based test planning and ensure adequate test coverage through effective manual and automated testing approaches
- Able to Create, Assign, and track the project/module work plans for delivery and also provide the technical guidance for work completion
- Ability to plan work schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards
- Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures based on the Root Cause Analysis.
- Ensure process improvements and compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions or review
- Partner with the automation team to develop strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing.
- Contribute to the design, enhancement, and maintenance of automation frameworks and reusable test components
- Leading the QA team to design and create test conditions, test data and test automation scripts to address business and technical use cases.
- Experience in Various Testing Phases- Functional, Regression, Integration, User Acceptance, Performance Testing and API Testing.
- Review business requirements, technical specifications, and solution designs to ensure testability and quality coverage.
- Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to implement Continuous Testing practices and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and technical walkthroughs from a quality engineering perspective.
- Ability to Define metrics, create reports, and develop statistics, for organizational reporting and monitoring of quality processes within QA department.
- Analyze existing QA quality processes and develop new or revised quality standards as needed
- Recommend and evaluate new testing tools, technologies, and quality engineering practices to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
- Define test environment requirements and support test data management activities.
- Provide technical mentoring to QA Engineers on manual testing, automation, API testing, and quality engineering best practices.
- Develops and maintains a productive work teams by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance.

- Experience of testing REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience with API automation and validation using modern testing frameworks and tools.
- Understanding of Test Architecture and design.
- Understanding of automation framework architecture, reusable component design, design patterns, and quality engineering principles.
- Experience using GitLab and GitHub for source control management, code reviews, branching strategies, and collaborative development.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment processes.
- Experience with Azure DevOps including test management, release management, pipeline integration, and reporting.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Docker containerization and container-based test execution.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, Continuous Testing, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
- Experience with Test Data Management, environment management, and release validation activities.
- Exposure to cloud-based applications and services hosted on Microsoft Azure.
- Exposure to AI-assisted software development and testing tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot or equivalent AI-powered engineering platforms.
- Understanding of AI-assisted test case generation, test automation development, code review, defect analysis, and test data creation.
- Knowledge of Prompt Engineering techniques for test design, automation development, and quality assurance activities is preferred.
- ISTQB Agile Technical Tester, Test Automation Engineer, AI Testing, or equivalent certifications are desirable.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related field. In lieu of a degree, 3 years as a Senior Quality Analyst/ Engineer or Technical Lead with.
- Experience contributing to enterprise test automation framework design and implementation.
- Experience participating in test architecture discussions and quality strategy initiatives.
- Experience with Playwright framework architecture and scalable automation solutions.
- Experience implementing automated testing within GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Working knowledge of Docker-based test execution and containerized application testing.
- Experience using AI-powered engineering tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of incorporating AI-assisted testing methodologies into Quality Engineering practices.
- Understanding of AI/ML application testing, validation approaches, and quality assurance considerations is a plus. or a higher-level position. In addition to the above the following experience is required:
- Internal candidates: Minimum 2 years as a highly performing Mouser Senior Software Quality Analyst/Engineer with demonstrated technical leadership in quality engineering initiatives, test automation, framework enhancements, CI/CD practices, mentoring team members, and driving quality improvements across projects or a higher-level position, or 1 full year as a highly performing Mouser Software QA Lead/Coordinator.
- External candidates: Minimum 2 years as a Senior Quality Analyst/ Engineer or QA Lead, Technical Lead, or a higher-level management position. Proven experience in manual and automated testing, test automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD implementation, and mentoring QA teams supervisor or a higher-level management position.
