ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manages the continuous improvement and development of the logistics function.
- Manage forwarder and broker relationship. Source & recommend best logistics alternative to management.
- Monitor & coordinate with the team for daily customs declaration and on-time delivery.
- Strong teaching, analytical, problem solving, negotiation, time management, and organizational skills.
- Monitor broker’s customs clearance process. Work with brokers to solve critical issues and emergency.
- Monitor the cases happened in the logistics chain such as claims, customer delivery complains, urgent delivery.
- Supports and participates in the company's total quality process.
- Supports the Local Customer Service team and other teams when needed.
- Good experience in AEO certification process with China customs.
- Coordinate internal audits & external audits.
- Good experience in documenting and setting up company process & procedure in both English and in Chinese in an orderly and efficient manner.
- Effective interactions with internal and external parties including different teams, Logistics, Customer Services, headquarter, CPAs, logistic service providers, customs office and so on.
- Strong analytical mind and ability to investigate, identify and report findings or issues accurately.
- Implementation initiatives as well as participate in the testing, training, and go-live support. Coordinate global Logistics resources to achieve project goals and schedule.
- Implement Logistic/customs information system to support business growth.
- Setting up quality management program and performance evaluation with supply chain partners.
- Follow-up of all steps of the implementation to ensure project go live as scheduled.
- Optimizes & review processes by acting as a logistics/customs expert in continuous improvement projects.
- Develops and maintains a productive work teams by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance.
- Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.
- Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent. Makes suggestions and recommendation for these employees regarding performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.
- Manages daily operations to meet department and company objectives.
- Works with minimum supervision and makes independent judgments.
- Flexible to meet the changing needs of the business and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments.
- Initiates, establishes and maintains highly effective relationships with internal and external business contacts of various cultures, and at all levels.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, organizational and teaching skills.
- Good experience and knowledge with Customs laws for assigned region, import and export regulations and procedures.
- Good experience in logistics and freight forwarding.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and able to communicate with people at all levels.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English and local language.
- Excellent Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Words, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook and other software skills.
Minimum two years user experience in logistics/customs software.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in any field, or minimum of 3 years prior work experience that is relevant to the team you will manage. Including:
Internal candidates: Minimum 2 years as a highly performing Mouser Team Lead or Supervisor.
External candidates: Minimum 3 years as a supervisor or higher-level management position
