Your Opportunity
Due to strong growth and an exciting pipeline of projects, Mott MacDonald's Transport team has an exciting opportunity for a driven Senior Structual Modeller to join our dynamic Bridges and Civil Structures team in Victoria. You’ll play a key role in delivering innovative, multidisciplinary projects in collaboration with government authorities and Tier 1 contractors.
Our projects are predominantly infrastructure based, and as a Senior Structural Modeller - Bridges & Civil Structures, you will be working on large scale multidiscipinary projects that shape the communities in which we live. You will be joining a diverse and passionate team with a proven track record delivering major projects across Australia. Your role

Production of structural drawings and models using project specified software.

Interpreting design intent sketches provided by the project engineers.

Complying with company and project-specific modelling and drawing standards.

Assisting with the formal drawing submission process and develop production drawings.

Working closely with our Digital Delivery and BIM teams to develop your BIM capabilities.
Essential
- Experience in engineering consultancy project environments and fully proficient in AutoDesk Revit, Tekla, MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
- Able to carry out complex structural design and modelling with limited supervision from senior team members.
- Comprehensive experience of structural design and analysis packages including AutoDesk Revit, AutoDesk Structural Bridge Design, Midas Civil, Tekla, MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of industry codes and Victorian standards, including DTP NTS Infrastructure Drafting Standard, AS5100, VicRoads BTNs and MTM standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure to meet competing deadlines.

- Willingness to provide design coordination input on projects.
- Ability to assist in bidding for work and pursuing opportunities to deploy advanced modelling and BIM solutions.
- Experience in managing and/or mentoring others and contributing to career development and technical learning for others.
